Become a Minister

Become an IFC Minister

Ordination Through Understanding, Practice, and Service

We welcome individuals 18 and older who resonate with the principles of Barbequia and feel called to start their own congregation. Becoming an ordained minister with the Independent Faith Church is about more than a certificate, it’s a commitment to living and sharing the philosophy of Peaceful, Happy, Loving Living in meaningful ways.

At IFC, ordination is taken seriously. Unlike organizations that issue certificates for ego or profit, we require a deep understanding of Barbequia’s core principles and the ability to apply them practically in daily life.

The Path to Ordination

The journey to becoming an IFC minister involves study, reflection, and practical application:

  • Demonstrate a thorough grasp of Barbequia’s philosophy.

  • Show readiness to embody these principles in personal life and community leadership.

  • Receive guidance and mentorship from the Council of Ministers.

  • Complete a ministerial agreement with IFC.

This process ensures that every minister is equipped to serve their congregation and community with integrity, compassion, and clarity. Ordination is not a shortcut, it is a dedication to study, practice, and meaningful spiritual leadership.

Personalized Guidance

Our approach is one-on-one, offering tailored mentorship throughout the ordination process. Candidates receive support, resources, and practical guidance to prepare for leading their own congregations and sharing Barbequia in a way that is authentic to them.

Upon ordination, you will have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to teach, inspire, and support others while living the philosophy of Barbequia fully in your own life.

If you feel called to this path, please reach out to the Presiding Minister. We will review the requirements with you and begin your personalized journey toward ordination.
