Becoming an Ordained Minister with Independent Faith Church

We welcome individuals over the age of 18 who resonate with the principles of Barbequia and wish to start their own congregation to pursue the path of becoming an ordained minister.

At Independent Faith Church, we take the ordination of ministers seriously. Unlike many organizations that issue ministerial certificates for financial gain or to feed the ego, we require a deep understanding of Barbequia’s core principles and the ability to apply them practically in everyday life.

Becoming an ordained minister involves rigorous study and commitment. To begin the process, candidates must demonstrate both an extensive grasp of Barbequia’s philosophy and a readiness to reflect these principles in their personal and spiritual leadership. Once the necessary requirements are met, and the individual is approved by the Council of Ministers, they may enter into a ministerial agreement with IFC and receive official ordination.

The journey to ordination is not a shortcut—it requires dedication, understanding, and the ability to share Barbequia’s teachings in a meaningful way. Ministers play a vital role in representing the values of the Independent Faith Church, and we ensure that all ordained ministers are equipped to serve their communities with integrity.

If you are interested in pursuing ordination, please reach out to the Presiding Minister. We will review the requirements with you and provide personalized guidance throughout your training. Our approach is one-on-one, ensuring that each potential minister receives the support they need to succeed in this important role.

Upon ordination, you will be fully prepared, with the knowledge and tools necessary to start your own congregation and share the Barbequian spiritual philosophy in a way that is uniquely your own.
